The 16th match of the IRB Pacific Nations Cup will be played by Fiji and Japan. For both the countries this will be the third match of this year’s tournament. The match will be played at the BMO Field which is at Toronto on July 29, 2015. The match will kick off at 14:00 (GMT) and 08:00 (BST). Pascal Gauzere of France will be the referee for this match. This is going to be one of the biggest matches of this year’s IRB Pacific Nations cup as both the teams were the finalist of this compilation last year. This year six teams are taking part in the cup. So far this year both the teams have played two matches. Japan has won one and lost one and they are third in the point table. In their first match the faced Canada and beat them by 20-06. In the second match they were beaten by USA which was close match and japan lost by only 5 points (23-18). Fiji also won one and drawn one so far. In their first match they beat Tonga by 30-22 and in the second match they draw against Samoa which was a closely contested match. As both the teams did not have their expected results in the last games, both are serious about the following match. Whoever wins the match will go to take the first place in the point table.
Japan has a great history of playing Rugby matches and as they started playing during 1932 and they have taken part in eight world cup and they will also host the Rugby World Cup in 2019. Their position is 12 in the IRB ranking. In total they have won 129 matches and lost 172 matches. Fiji is ranked 10th in the IRB ranking. In total they have played 310 matches and they won 149 of them and lost 152 matches. As japan was the winner of the IRB Pacific Nations Cup in 2014 they are expecting to top the points table and if they can defeat Fiji then it will ensure their position on the top. But so far Fiji has a great tournament and they are quiet interested to keep their winning run. Fiji is predicted to win the match as they have won 12 times out of 15 they played against japan. Both the teams have chosen strong team for the game.
