| England vs. Fiji: Match Preview |
The wait for the Rugby World Cup is over now and the first match of this year’s Rugby World Cup will be played between the host England and Fiji. The match will be played on Thursday night, September 18. There is not a single seat left and the stadium will be packed with 82,000 fans. This is a mighty important match for England and they will go to match knowing that too. In order to place them in a good spot in the pool they have to win this match before they go on to play with Wales and Australia. But the Fijians are not going to let them an easy win, they have enough dangerous men in their team to cause an upset.
In the earlier history England always has been always the favorite team between this two. Both teams have met for five times until today and in all the matches England won by some distance. The latest one took place at Twickenham in 2012 which produced the biggest win for the England team as they beat Fiji by 54-12. Six players of the England team are going to feature in the lineup for tomorrow’s game who took part in that memorable win. But the Fijians also has come quiet a long way in these three years. They have more talent in their team now. Although they will not have their star performer Napolioni Nalaga but they have some very good talented guys who can cause an upset. Their skipper Akapusi Qera is sure that his team is going to put up a great fight.
Players to watch:
Jonathan Joseph (England)
The center of Bath has a great boost in his carrier and almost restarted his playing life for England in the 2015 Six Nations Cup. At 24 years old he has that extra impressiveness and quality which can boost the performance his team like he did against Wales in Cardiff recently. Then he kept his good play running with the performance against Italy.
Nemani Nadolo (Fiji)
He is an impressive player with a 6’5” height and 19 Stone weights and considers as the giant of the Fiji team. He is compared as the Jonah Lomu of this modern era. He played exceptional for the Crusaders in this year’s Super Rugby Championship and he has great records at the international level too.
Prediction:
As per our prediction England is going to win this match by a big margin. They will win over the Fijians by 42-13.
